Very nice tour, now, what happens when there is an Electric power outage, Or, your Apple Watch battery is lowβ¦
I just recently bought a microwave that connects with the Alexa app. My first ever smart house appliance.
I feel like Tony Stank (IFYKYK π)
Hi whats the Download/upload wifi speed required to run those Automation ? Thanks
Thanks for this, love your sense of humor. Quick question – do you use/need the aqara hub to use their contact sensors?
This video is unintentionally hilarious
Have you had any issues with the Frame TV and Apple 4K together? Can you use the one remote and still access Art Mode?
I wonder how many permits this guy needed πππ
Ge doorbells are my favourite doorbells and also ring doorbell
I feel like buying the house
Wao, nice house
He's so proud of his hitting the counter turn it all on automation lol. It's in like 20 videos
Love the way his face lit up when describing how the vibration sensor works for the home cinema π€£
You're my go to person to check for smarthome ideas. I just started. Have a bunch of bulbs, sensors, light strips, plugs, and buttons. This is so fun. I always wanted to make my home smart when I was a kid, and I'm finally living that dream now. Everything is so cool.

Hello! Could you explain how you have your Frame TV set up? Do you utilize a combination of Apple TV and the Samsung default home interface or just Apple TV? Do you use both remotes?
I saw on a previews video that you have a morning routine automation for work-out, that the lighting change base of a timer. Can you please help me creating an automation like that one.
"Automating my chores with kids." – Smart Home Solver
Hi, I remember that in one of your videos you mentioned you have a pet feeder, so I just want to know how effective the Aqara FP2 is in differentiating between a pet and a human and not accidentally trigger any automations due to the pet?
If robots to go over the world, he would be dead
Tour of the House you Subscribers and Add Wathcers pay for π€£
What about vulnerabilities?
Just over engineering.
"My kids like to wrestle in here" sure…π
Does all this work with apple home
Did you buy that house for $2000?
the video is great how did you make and connect all the wires
I've been able to turn on lights since the 80's with the "Clapper" clap on – clap off! Viola! Home automation——— LOL
What is the door bell you use?
Are the motion sensors connected to your alarm? If so, good luck breaking in π¨βΌοΈ
Multiple zone lighup is insane!
I'm imagining myself coming for dinner, leaving thinking I just spent an hour and a half listening to a home automation sales pitch.
1:08 Awesome house !! could you let us know the doorbell that you are using. Didnβt see the link for that anywhere unless I missed it.
I have to unsubscribe, its pretty much about turning lights on and how many thousands you can spend on it. I build robots and started in 1982 with cardboard smarthomes are nowhere and going nowhere. I have a robot that can be told to go cook a meal, it can navigate the house, pull the ingredients and ready to cook, yes cooking isnt there yet, but my AI recognizes the order and face in the same amount of words you turned on lights, and who has lights around a tv, that defeats vision.
Nice video, definitely gave me some ideas but just imagine the amount of data these companies have on you and your family lol.
Hey Reed! I revisited this vid because I want to integrate an FP2 in conjunction with a Hue motion sensor and I see that you have (or had) that in your living room. I have Hue Labs set up to where if I push a Hue button it bypasses the motion sensor so say, I am going to be in a room for a while and then fall asleep, the motion sensor will not trigger. Can this be coordinated with the FP2? Maybe "disarm" with an Aqara button or someting? If I want to turn off the lights even when I plan on being in a room, I don't want the FP2 to trigger them on.
I had the same cold water issue in my home. Game changer was having a recirculation pump installed which keeps warm water flowing through the pipes. I connected the pump to a smart plug and have automated it with Home Assistant to only run when we're home and during times we are likely to use the shower or faucets. Highly recommend for water savings
Love the vids. Keep it up!!! οΈ
It always blows my mind to see people put so much time, effort, and money into smart home stuff, then leave sensors sitting out on countertops and have nests of wires running unmanaged. It's like buying a Ferrari, and replacing the interior with pleather.
I love it so much thank you
What is the hub youβre using to control it all?
