Soldered rams ? No thanks, I'll pass.
does the i9 hx 13th and 14th gen have problems too like the desktop processors ? does somebody now that ?
Waiting for new models, probably won't get intel, but dunno when they'll be released
I personally fell in love with 14in gaming laptops (Zephyrus G14, Tuff 14, Lenovo Slim 5, etc) Bought my first last year (G14 2022) on a big sale, I use it more than my $1,500 gaming PC I built, so I sold it and haven't looked back
I just want good laptop for gaming and programming. Any suggestions?
Good advice im gonna upgrade my gtx 1650 laptop to an rtx 4000 series especially since my current one has problems making it difficult to use sometimes.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Matthew. Clear and straight to the point.
one question guys msi katana 15 4070 i9 16ram is it a good labtop i only want it for gaming iam scared after 1 or 2 years start to have proploms
This is exactly what i was looking for!
You cleared all my doubts, thanks man
The new Core Ultra 200V series of chips may be the best thing to happen to Windows laptops, ever.
Thatβs helpful information thank you πππ―
I'm eager to see the extent to which ASUS will enhance the FLOW 13 tablet's GPU capabilities. Owning the RMT02, I absolutely adore it and am curious about the future advancements. I believe the form factor and capabilities warrant the price.
Very helpful ty
I am going to check Lunar Lake laptops with great interest. Maybe, just maybe igpu will finally be enough.

Help me finding best option please
Im searching for light laptop 14 -15 inch good for autocad and sketch up (not heavy work) around 1000 dollars
I'm using lenovo Legion 5 now, but it's very heavy, especially with a big battery and battery life very short.
I bought an ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DV with Ryzen 7 3750H
Cpu and GeForce RTX 2060 GPU and 16 gb ram back in 2020. Still great for everything I want to do.
I think I will wait 1.5 year more for a new one.
I have no idea what i should do π i have uni starting in September so i want to get a laptop for school work/a little bit of gaming/editing, do you suggest i wait. I currently have an iPad that i could probably use for a short time but Iβm gonna need a laptop real soon.
Is the zephyrus G14 with the 4060 a good buy right now ? Or if I wait 2025 I can get better for less expensive ?
Im just looking for something to run world of warcraft and do photo editing. Any recommendations ?
I have been looking to replace my laptop for a while now. Last year I upgraded the ram from 4GB to 16GB and relplaced the HDD 1TB with a Crucial MX SSD 1TB. It speeded it up a lot but the AMD A9-9420 RADEON R5 CPU is really slow, it struggles to play 1080P video on youtube.
So since crimbo I have been looking at replacing my laptop with a gaming laptop. Just waiting to see the options that are available with the AMD and INTEL CPU releases. Apple Macbooks are just too expensive.
Informative video @MatthewMoniz.
I have a Question:
Currently my system is a i7 8700k GTX1070 16gb Ram ddr4
I'm struggling to decide if a Small Gaming PC build with eighter i5 or i7 and a 4070 Super with 32gb ddr5 would be better than a Laptop with equal Hardware (like a Legion 5i pro)
Use would be Gaming, some light office work and some CAD Design (Catia V5 and Fusion)
I have space for a ATX build but would be happier with something smaller. Just worried wirh the upgradeability of Laptops.
Thanks for every bit of help i will get!
Super appreciate your genuine suggestions, especially regarding the "ai pc"
Just brought a 2024 14 inch HP Spectre x360. Battery life is great.
18.5 hours of continuous YouTube viewing (150 nits, wifi & battery saver on, 60 hz, background apps off).
Snapdragon Lenovo Slim gets 24.5 hours under the same condition, but can't run my statistical software.
Intel is in Turmoil and the Snapdragon chip has not been adopted wide enough for software developers to care to provide compatible software. The best laptops to purchase are either Ryzen based chips or the true and tested Macbooks.
wrong. intel's 13 and 14 gen cpus are buggy and there's no solution right now.
i wish he would elaborate which βchunky boisβ are good laptops im too lazy to dig through all this guys videos to find right now lol π
Need a laptop for my REAL ESTATE WORK and personal work. I was thinking of the hp spectre or maybe the Dell xps or the new surface laptop 7. Can anyone help me out on pros and cons of each. All I know is that Dell kinda is overpriced but ""worth it""
I'd like to stick to a window laptop and not go to a MacBook
Do NOT buy a Dell laptop. Every single time I have an issue and pay their $99 to have a tech fix the issue then they do an update the same issue happens AGAIN! XPS 17 9710. They want you to pay a monthly warranty fee which I refuse to do. The mouse pad sticks, the audio output mutes, this laptop freakin weighs 5 pounds so at this point I can't even do my job and it's costing me money. I'm done with Dell. Looking for a new product.
XPS 17 9710 – Don't buy it!

Intel power usage has been terrible for 5 years. They are so terrible that Apple abandoned them. Your blind faith in Intel which is really stumbling tight now, is completely misplaced!
which game is that with so many controles
Please send a s24 I am from South Africa πΏπ¦ π
The Samsung edge 16 is really really nice
All new laptops are not worth buying because there is no upgrades anymore
that has put me off and am no longer thinking of ever buying one.
If i want to replace my Battery or upgrade my Ram and Hard Drive
i should be able to easily without pulling the whole thing to pieces
so i can keep it many years longer .
Once Snap Dragon goes to a 3nm chip then they can be more competitive with Apple.
I'll be out of a laptop in a week (changing jobs) and I'm in the market for a new laptop. I just picked up a heavily discounted HP Spectre x360 14. I like it so far, but I don't use the 2-in-1 feature + pen and it's still a lot of money to drop in one go. I'm considering returning it within the 30-day window and buying a cheap Thinkpad as a transition machine and waiting for these new developments with Lunar Lake and the new AMD as well.
There was a time where I had a gaming laptop as my only device. It was during the time when carrying your pc and monitor to LAN-parties was too much. Now, my pc is powerful enough that even if I were to get a 4080 in the laptop, my PC would still outperform. Also, I'm not going to LAN-parties anymore, so gaming with mobility in mind is not a priority.
That's why I can still drop a solid budget, but I'm not sacrificing on gaming performance – I want my laptop to suck at gaming XD
i would buy one that offers me the possibility to upgrade their components icluding gpu, but i guess it's nearly impossible to find nowadays
Dang i wating for AMD HX cause of ai and gona buy G16 for it. was wating for few month, now i have to think again.
I want to buy Zyperus G16 but i perfer G14 if the fan noise came to realm of anoying. Is it.?
We're in a bit of a pickle at work. I work on a cruise ship as a photographer, meaning I do a lot of creative work in Lightroom and Premiere Pro. The Snapdragons would be great, but they don't support PP or anyother filmmaking-software yet and X86 laptops get so loud and warm that it is uncomfortable for everyone else around me. Lastly, IT won't let buy Macbooks because "they're not supported"…
We should wait for 2028 π
