I’ve been debating on going back to school to become a social worker, focusing mainly on mental health/public health. I want to ask how safe and secure it is to pursue a BSW via an online-accredited program and if you know of any reputable institutions? I’m considering an online education since I have a full-time job and to have a school schedule that is slightly flexible with my current lifestyle.
far too many mentally ill people in this industry so check yourselves. We don't need you carrying out your mental illnesses over the course of a lifetime using taxpayer money.
I was a director of a psychiatric halfway house. The clients weren't the problems, but the social workers, shrinks, lawyers -all the messed up people cashing in on this industry
I left this industry
Social workers are far too messed up – we didn't want you at our dining halls in college, we didn't want you at our parties because your joy kills and we spend our entire existence running to your emotional rescue
Social workers have very high rates of addictions, mental illness, and abuse. They are extremely abusive people
you shouldn't be allowed to take care of a fly.
Here in Canada, we don’t require a MSW to practice as a medical/mental health and addictions/psychiatric social worker.
This video is exactly what I needed. Thank you!
